This semester is the first semester that I learnt Japanese Language and for this subject, we are asked to interview a Japanese lecturer as an assignment. I find this task challenging as I was still a basic learner and I have never spoke in Japanese before. During the interview, I was nervous as I am afraid that I will not be able to converse in Japanese but thankfully, Dr. Hara is a funny person and he jokes with us, making me feel a little relaxed. Not only that, he even translates his answers to English every time he finished answering our questions in Japanese. I am very thankful that he did that as I can understand what he means. This task gave me a little more confidence to converse in Japanese and I hope that I could improve my Japanese in the future for a clearer and more fluent conversation to take place.
