FYP is the peak mark in university life for me. The topic that i have chosen is The Development of Total Site Heat Integration (TSHI) Software by Microsoft Excel VBA. TSHI is a methodology which purposely used to study and analyse the potential heat energy use by a few plants which have centralized utility. This FYP project have teach me a lot and open up of my mind of how to save energy and fossil fuel consumption.The platform that i used for TSHI software development is Microsoft Excel Visual Basic for Application (VBA) which really user friendly and it use Microsoft Excel interface which a lot of people familiar about it. For this development i need at most 3 monitors which can helped me do a lot of task in one time.My supervisor is a very kind person. He helped me a lot by giving me advice and encouragement and keep explaining me about the topic. With his helped I can manage to finish my software development which will be applied for copyright.The industrial panel who evaluate my poster presentation is so kind, she give me advice about improvement which can be made on the poster and she also advise and share her experience as chemical engineer in industrial sector. I took this event as a platform to improve my communication by presenting to the panel, juniors and my friends. I also shared my experience of my FYP project to juniors and give them some encouragement and advice for them to do well in 4th year. I also demonstrated my software product to the panel and visitors.The poster that has pasted on the board. The poster was designed by me and my supervisor, Dr. Liew which content introduction, literature, methodology, software flow and the FYP results.
