17th April 2018, an industrial seminar for SKEE4012 subject was held in Lecture Hall 1, L50 to all the final year student of Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The speaker of the industrial seminar was given by Ir. Juraimi Masood from Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP). He is the member of MMC Corporation Berhad (MMC) which is leading utilities and infrastructure group with diversified businesses under three division, namely energy & utilities, ports & logistic and engineering & construction.
Head of Development Department responsible for the planning, construction, test, and delivery of the various packages within the Port development plan. For the question and answer session
- How can engineer try to intercept their scope of work with other fields?
Answer: Engineer only can give their opinion, ideas but the engineer cannot design and make the decision out their fields. However, we admit that every field of engineering related to each other
- Is there any gender bias when we worked in engineering?
Answer: there is no gender bias in the engineering field. This is because everyone needs to take the challenges even though climbing 50m of the crane.
