Purpose: To study the effectiveness of Car Free Day
Objectives:
1. To study the approaches to enhance Car Free Day.
2. To study the benefits of Car Free Day.
3. To study the disadvantages of Car Free Day.
Car Free Day in UTM:
The "UTM Car Free Day" program is one of the university's effort in campus sustainability program. The target of this initiative is to reduce air pollution, to promote a healthy lifestyle and to improve environmental awareness among campus community. Car Free Day in UTM is set to be implemented on one chosen day in every month and will involve the roads inside the Lingkaran Ilmu area from 8am to 5pm. Hence, with this survey, we will be able to study the effectiveness of Car Free Day in UTM whether or not it will provide more benefits to the staffs and students or does it provide more harm instead.
