Screening Procedures
1.The personal interview
-gives leader a chance to make contact with potential members.
-leader has opportunity to inform prospectives members about the group's content, process, membership, and rules.

2. Written screening
-prospectives members complete a written form, gibes leader information necessary to decide if the person is appropriate for the group
3.Screeninh by referral source
-leader informs possible referral sources, such as teachers or administrators, other therapist or hospitals.
4. Screen by using a comprehensive group program
-a leader conducting several groups in the same setting.
-assign members according to their knowledge, age, experience or some personality characteristics
5. Screening after the group has begun
Gieves participant a chance to see if being in a group is the best decision for them.
