On 5 December 2020, Azman Hashim International Business School has held a program “How to Achieve a Successful Career in Procurement”. The objective of this program to deliver knowledge to the student about procurement in the international industry market from the Senior Strategic Purchasing Manager & Global Lead Buyer VACUUMSCHMELZE Singapore Pte Ltd. The aspect that the sharing session focuses is on how to become a successful procurement. This program grabs my attention to know on how the purchasing or procurement process in the international market. As we know, the normal purchasing that we have done in our basic is different from the company purchasing that require a lot of step and detail that require to make a perfect procurement. Last but not least, the topic of the program also relate to my subject for this semester which is Supply Chain Management .
5) Self-Reflection
A lot of knowledge that this program offer to the student of University Technology Malaysia. I have gained more understanding about the subject that I learn for this semester which is Supply Chain Management. The speaker shows the detail on how procurement works in the international market. The knowledge does not have in a book but only can get it from the Expert. One of the aspects that Mr. Chang Han Hua speaker on that day is to understand the ecosystem management and trend. By studying the current market trend, it helps the purchasing manager to predict future demand and prepare production planning.
Another useful piece of information that I get from this sharing session is as a person we need to “focus on the big picture”. What “focus on the big future” means is the most important facts about the situation and the effects of the situation on others. When become manager, we need to focus on every fact and aspect in the company because the factor might affect the department or the organization

The reason that I join this program to improve my knowledge on how to improve my resume and interview skills might helping me in the future to find work. As we know, interview skill is important to fresh graduate that wants to seek a job and resume is one of the important aspects that the company looks into it. As a student, this activity might give a huge benefit for now and in the future.
The graduate attributes in this program are communication skills. This program will encourage the student to develop their communication skills and with good communication skill it not just helps them for the interview but also presentation
The content of the activities in the workshop and sharing session with the speaker, Coach Nik Faiz. For the first hour session, he shared about criteria for making a good resume, and the second-hour session is about interview skills and how to improve them.
5)Self-reflection
Level up resume program that is held by using an online platform on 1 December 2020 with more than 100 participants have joined that program because it gives a lot of benefit in the future. The speaker for the program is Coach Nik Faiz, he is Malaysia's 1st Certified Professional Career Coach CEO from Career Expert Sdn Bhd.
The coaching session that is held for two hours gives a lot of benefit to the students and helping them identified what should they do and what shouldn’t. The coach also highlights the common mistake in making a resume and also during an interview with the company. He useful tips for me is every student needs to improve their communication skills and improve presentation skills. This is because our communication shows our confidence toward the people that we speaking to and also our communication skills help our audience to well understand our presentation.
The challenge of handling this program is to find the participant in a short period. How to overcome that issue is our team decide to offer to another university and also faculty to join our program and the result was satisfying. Half of the students from our faculty (AHIBS) and half of them from other faculty.

Strategi Meet and Mingle program that organized by Strategi society that held on 3 November 2020 on WebEx. The objective of this program to introduce the first-year students to Azman Hashim International Business School and our club Strategi Society Club. This program also highlights about few activities that Strategi have a plan for their members for 2020/2021. The participant on that day more than 250 students first year of Marketing and Technology Management. After introducing AHIBS and Strategi, for the second hour around 3 pm until 4 pm, we have a sharing session for the alumni AHIBS students that now working as Growth & Acquisition Specialist at Storehub, Mr. Ngang Jin Ming. The one hours sharing session from him is to enhance student to join the UTM program and also Strategic Program. He shared his experience for 4 years at University Technology Malaysia and also shows his achievement at UTM. By doing that, it might give motivation to the first student to follow his steps and become successful in their studies
5)Self-Reflection
The reflection for this program especially the sharing session from the alumni of AHIBS Mr. Ngang Jin Ming. The speaker encourage the new student to always tries new things or explores the new program that will give you experience either its University program or College program. Mr. Ngang Jin Ming shares that ,he joins the international exchange students overseas for 6 months and he mentions it was a huge opportunity to study overseas for 6 months. He also enhances to explore the program or activities that have been offered by UTM because it might give you experience and create memories when you graduated.
Furthermore, it important to engage with the lecturer during teaching and learning, He also thanks and grateful to Dr. Grace that helps him a lot while he at UTM for 4 years. Lecturer and teacher are the most valuable person in the world because he or she teaching us with countless efforts and make sure we become a successful person
