Industrial Training At Mesiniaga Berhad
During my internship at Mesiniaga Berhad as an SOC intern, I worked as a Network Analyst and Cyber Threat Intelligence specialist. My primary responsibility was monitoring and analyzing network security threats using IBM QRadar and Stellar Cyber. I gained hands-on experience in detecting, investigating, and responding to security incidents, ensuring the protection of organizational assets. By leveraging threat intelligence, I assisted in identifying potential vulnerabilities and mitigating cyber risks. The internship provided me with practical exposure to security information and event management (SIEM) tools, enhancing my ability to interpret logs, correlate events, and generate reports. Additionally, I collaborated with the SOC team to improve threat detection strategies and enhance security operations. This experience strengthened my analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of cybersecurity frameworks.
