This seminar is held by library involved with 3 people which are two panels and 1 moderator. First panel named Puan Nur Atiqah Binti Aris and she share book 'OTAK 1.0'. This book is in a form of infographic and it is easily to understand by children too. Second panel named Puan Nabilah Binti Zainol Abidin and she share book ' Projek Lavender'. This book shares the writer's experience taking care of patients and also the lovely pet of the writer infected by cancer.
'OTAK 1.0' is a book that shares a lot of info about how to take care of our own body. Sometimes we are worried about supplement such as vitamin C, vitamin B and etc that might cost us a lot to buy. This book shares a lot of way that we can obtain those kind of vitamins in an organic way and able to save our money.
'Projek Lavender' inspires panel two about the World Cancer Day (4th February). She told that she couldn't finish the book due to the intense content in the book.
Self reflection:
From sharing of 'OTAK 1.0', it is more towards teaching on how a healthy lifestyle should be and it benefits me that I can adjust my lifestyle to have a more clear mind. Not only lifestyle, it also teaches on how a healthy meal should be. Other than that, it also shares tips to help kids to have better mind and I can share with my cousins or my kids in a future and help me to become a healthy human.
From sharing of 'Projek Lavender'. It introduce 26 types of cancers and they have different color of ribbon. Some of them I have not heard before and when I explore those cancer, it was heart breaking on how torturous these cancer can be. This book show more in depth of how patient got diagnosed that they are infected by cancer and how they accept it. This inspire to keep myself healthy and always be aware of any things happen to my body. This book also show the steps on how to deal with cancer and also where to seek help when facing financial problem.
