This seminar is about how Islam think about boycott according to history on what had happened to Nabi Muhammad SAW and relate it to incident happened recently.
Self reflection:
Even though I have a lot of Malay friends, what I have known about them and their religion are just surface. With this seminar, it gives me more understanding about Islam and I appreciate that we live in a multi religions country that everyone shares more knowledge about their religion.
The presenter had also explain "haram" in different perspective that some can be broke with strong reason for example that our Malay friends are fasting as known as "puasa" in Bahasa Malaysia. Upon certain situation such as fall sick and our Malay friends have to take medicine and drink water during the fasting period, it is okay to take a break on the "puasa" and that will be replace soon.
With that I advance my respect towards all the Malays during this fasting period and try to avoid eating or drinking in front them.
