Self-Reflection :

Being one of the key organizers for the OPS Bencana Quiz Competition, I am truly honored and motivated by the responsibility and excitement that comes with it. This event serves as a crucial platform to raise awareness about disaster management within the UTM community and the wider public. Collaborating with esteemed organizations like NADMA and the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia brings a wealth of expertise and credibility to our event, making it even more impactful.

The response from the public has been overwhelming, and it fills me with optimism to see so many individuals eager to learn about disaster management. This event underscores the importance of educating the public on these matters, as knowledge is our first line of defense in any crisis. The quiz format not only makes learning interactive but also offers participants the chance to win prizes, which is an added incentive.

The journey in preparing for this event has been a significant learning experience. It has taught me the importance of clear communication and effective teamwork, not only within our UTM team but also in our collaboration with NADMA and the Fire and Rescue Department.

One aspect that makes me particularly proud is our commitment to inclusivity by opening the event to both students and the public. We firmly believe that education on disaster preparedness should be accessible to all. Providing merit marks and e-certificates further adds value to participants' engagement and recognizes their dedication to self-improvement.

As we approach the event dates, my primary focus is on ensuring that we are well-prepared to address any last-minute challenges and that participants have a smooth and enriching experience. I also maintain close coordination with Alieya to ensure that we effectively handle inquiries from potential participants. The excitement is tangible, and I am eagerly anticipating the impact this event will have in enhancing disaster preparedness among Malaysians.
