3. Mini Report:

Encik Ahmad Hazwan Bin Azhari initiated the sharing session, introducing "The Human's Complex" by Dr. Zamir Mohyedin. The book delves into the unexplored "territory" of the mind, thoughts, and human behavior, a realm that remains elusive to scientists due to its intricate complexity. Focused on psychology, the book explores the functions of the human mind and how internal processes shape behavior and personality. The narrative unfolds the historical roots of the study of human psychology, underscoring ongoing research, debates, and discussions since ancient times. Noteworthy are early perspectives, such as Plato's assertion in 387 BC that the brain is the site of mental processes and Aristotle's claim in 335 BC that these processes occur within the human heart. "The Human's Complex" underscores the substantial contributions of Islamic scientists to understanding the human mind. Examples include Ibn Sina, who studied and treated conditions like epilepsy, dreams, and memory problems. Additionally, it highlights the establishment of the first hospital addressing psychiatric issues by Muslim doctors in the medieval period, as documented by the U.S. National Library of Medicine. Through experiments by scientists and psychology experts, the book aims to unravel the logic behind human mind and behavior. The author hopes the content will open minds, inspiring reflection on personal growth and fostering a commitment to becoming better individuals in the future.

4. Self Reflection:

Participating in the Book Sharing Programme has been a thought-provoking experience. "The Human's Complex" offered a fascinating journey into the intricacies of the human mind, prompting me to contemplate the historical evolution of psychological studies. Plato and Aristotle's early perspectives ignited my curiosity about the origins of our understanding of the mind. The insights into the contributions of Islamic scientists added a layer of appreciation for the diverse historical roots of psychology. Learning about Ibn Sina's work in treating conditions like epilepsy showcased the practical applications of psychological knowledge in different eras. The emphasis on experiments conducted by scientists and psychology experts in the book left me intrigued about the continuous evolution of our comprehension of human behavior. It serves as a reminder of the dynamic nature of this field and the ongoing quest to unravel the mysteries of the mind. This experience has not only broadened my knowledge but has also sparked a personal commitment to continuous learning and reflection. I am inspired to explore more about the intersections of psychology, history, and diverse cultural perspectives. Overall, the Book Sharing Programme has been a valuable platform for intellectual growth and self-discovery.
