Mini Report:
This is an event that aims for gathering people from different nationalities is one place to have Iftar together under one roof. First the event started with simple water and dates to breakfast. Then we went for Magrib prayer. After finishing the prayer we had the main meal sitting on the floor more than a 100 student boys and girls in rows. Once we finished eating activities started such as lucky draws and speeches.
Self Reflection:
This Iftar gathering was a great event to communicate with fellow Arab student in UTM and get to know more people that are not is the same field of study and I probably will never meet in any other places. It felt like a family gathering where everyone there speaks my mother tongue. We don’t get these many chances to have good food and sit with friends to have iftar and praise our religion together since we are usually busy with assignments and tests. It was a great relief from the stress of the university and really peaceful to pray and break our fast together.
