Mini Report:
I attended a webinar titled "Post-Pandemic Youth Employability" on 16th August 2022, which was organized by AIESEC Southern Youth Leadership Conference 11.0 (SYLC 11.0) and held on Facebook Live. The webinar aimed to address the challenges and opportunities for young people in the job market after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The project director of the webinar was Bryan Yap Zhi Yung, and the vice president, Yong Tong Yun is incoming global volunteer. The session began with an insightful presentation on the impact of the pandemic on youth employability. It highlighted the importance of acquiring digital skills, adaptability, and an entrepreneurial mindset in order to succeed in the post-pandemic job market.
The webinar also emphasized the significance of networking and building professional connections, even in a virtual environment. It provided practical tips on leveraging virtual platforms and social media for networking purposes. The session concluded with a Q&A session where participants had the opportunity to ask questions and seek further clarifications.

Attending the "Post-Pandemic Youth Employability" webinar organized by AIESEC Southern Youth Leadership Conference 11.0 (SYLC 11.0) was an enlightening experience for me. The webinar highlighted the key factors influencing youth employability in the post-pandemic world and provided valuable insights into the skills and qualities that employers are seeking.
I was particularly struck by the emphasis on digital skills and adaptability. The pandemic has accelerated the need for remote work capabilities and proficiency in technology, and this webinar reinforced the importance of staying updated with these skills. It motivated me to invest more time in learning and acquiring relevant digital skills to enhance my employability.
The webinar also stressed the significance of networking and connections. Despite the limitations posed by the pandemic, the session provided practical strategies for leveraging virtual platforms and social media to build professional networks. This made me realize the importance of actively engaging in virtual networking opportunities and seeking mentorship to expand my professional connections.
