Mini Report

Hari Kebudayaan 2023 is a cultural program under a bigger program called Open Day Resak 2023 (OPERA '23)  which took place with great enthusiasm and participation. The event aimed to celebrate and showcase diverse cultural traditions through engaging activities and performances. The evening featured a traditional games competition, a planned batik painting activity (which unfortunately had to be cancelled due to late kit arrival), and a captivating "HAKE SHOW" comprising a traditional fashion show and cultural booths from various international clubs.

The program commenced with the much-anticipated traditional games competition, which included five popular traditional games: congkak, galah panjang, batu seremban, ketinting, and dam. These games provided an opportunity for participants to display their skills, strategic thinking, and agility. The participants enthusiastically took part in the competitions, showcasing their prowess and creating a lively and competitive atmosphere.

Though the batik painting activity had to be cancelled due to delayed kit delivery, the participants were not disappointed, as they received their painting kits after the program. This gesture allowed them to engage in the art of batik painting at their convenience, further embracing the cultural essence that the program sought to promote.

The highlight of the night was the "HAKE SHOW," which encompassed a traditional fashion show and cultural booths from various international clubs. The traditional fashion show showcased a vibrant display of attire representing different cultures, allowing the participants to appreciate and learn about diverse traditional garments. The cultural booths, set up by international clubs such as ISS Bangladesh, ISS Saudi Arabia, ISS Yemen, ISS Iraq, and many more, offered an immersive experience to explore and learn about different cultures. These booths served as informative platforms where participants could interact, observe cultural artifacts, and gain insights into the traditions, customs, and heritage of various countries.

The Hari Kebudayaan 2023 program successfully celebrated the richness and diversity of cultures through engaging activities and captivating performances. Despite the unfortunate cancellation of the batik painting activity, the program provided an enriching experience for all participants. The traditional games competition brought excitement and friendly competition, allowing individuals to showcase their skills. The "HAKE SHOW" featuring the traditional fashion show and cultural booths provided an avenue for cultural exchange, fostering greater understanding and appreciation of different cultures.

In conclusion, the Hari Kebudayaan 2023 program successfully celebrated cultural diversity through traditional games and the engaging "HAKE SHOW." It served as a platform for cultural exchange, fostering greater appreciation and understanding of different traditions. The program's success can be attributed to the enthusiasm and participation of all those involved.
