The Kem Pemantapan Jawatankuasa Kolej Mahasiswa Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail 2023 program was meticulously organized to foster leadership and communication skills among the committee members. Located on Tioman Island, the program encompassed a series of challenging activities designed to promote personal growth and development.

The program commenced with the arrival of participants, who embarked on a journey by bus to Mersing, followed by a ferry ride to Tioman Island. Upon arrival, the committee members were divided into two groups, and the program officially began. One of the notable highlights of the program was a memorable hike up a hill, leading the participants into the enchanting forest. To facilitate immersion in the program, personal devices were intentionally left behind, allowing the participants to focus solely on the activities at hand. Only essential items such as a torchlight, watch, and provided materials like raw cooking supplies, live chicken, mess tin, and ponchos were carried.

Another significant aspect of the program was the overnight stay in the forest, which put the committee members' survival skills to the test. . Each  group had to set up a campsite with designated areas for sanitation, prayer, cooking, and rest. The participants diligently carried out their assigned tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the camp. Proximity to a nearby river provided a convenient water source, further enhancing the forest experience.

Throughout the program, exhilarating competitions were held, adding a sense of adventure and camaraderie. The victorious group in each competition was rewarded with incentives, fostering a spirited atmosphere during the culinary endeavors. Evenings were marked by joyful activities, including singing, cheering, and presenting meals with artistic flair.

Environmental conservation was also a key focus during the program's island hopping segment. The committee members engaged in a beach cleaning effort on the first island, followed by snorkeling activities at two additional snorkeling spots. Basic snorkeling techniques were imparted, allowing the participants to marvel at the magnificent underwater world teeming with vibrant fish and exquisite corals.

Upon returning to the accommodations, a brief respite was given before immersing in the treasure hunt. Efficiently dividing tasks, the participants navigated the island with purpose, successfully completing their designated missions. The island treasure hunt was a particularly engaging activity during the program. Tasks were thoughtfully allocated among the participants, encompassing various exciting missions. These missions included locating the village chief for an interview to uncover the village's rich history, finding exotic materials, searching for small live aquatic animals, and more. The treasure hunt encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and resourcefulness as the participants explored the island's hidden gems. The findings were then presented to the facilitators, and the triumphant team was rewarded with a delectable Biscoff cake.

The evening unfolded with a lively barbecue program skillfully orchestrated by the participants. Each member embraced their respective roles, ensuring the smooth flow of the event. To enhance the entertainment value, a captivating dance traditional and dance performances was arranged, adding cultural vibrancy to the occasion. The atmosphere was filled with speeches, performances, and memorable interactions while enjoying a delightful feast.

As the night drew to a close, the venue was tidied up, and the participants bid farewell to an unforgettable experience. The following morning, an early rise was necessary to embark on the return journey, boarding the ferry back to campus.
