As the director and participant of KEM PEMANTAPAN JAWATANKUASA KOLEJ MAHASISWA KOLEJ TUN DR. ISMAIL 2023, I embarked on a transformative journey that allowed me to witness the impact of the activities on the development of the students' Graduate Attributes. This self-reflection will delve into the significance of the program, highlight my personal strengths, and discuss the challenges faced during its preparation.
On the growth of the students' Graduate Attributes, KEM PEMANTAPAN JAWATANKUASA KOLEJ MAHASISWA KOLEJ TUN DR. ISMAIL 2023 had a significant influence. Through a variety of activities, including group discussions, presentations, and collaborations, effective communication skills were fostered. Participants were encouraged by these encounters to communicate clearly, to actively listen to others, and to work well in diverse teams.
Throughout the program, leadership and teamwork skills were fostered. As the director, I had the chance to mentor and coach the participants while also observing their development as leaders. Participating in group activities, making decisions, and organizing logistics improved their capacity to cooperate and assume leadership positions when necessary.
The course also stressed flexibility. The participants had to overcome obstacles like living in the jungle and participating in snorkeling activities that required them to acclimatize to foreign environments and circumstances. They improved their capacity to modify their strategies, deal with uncertainty, and succeed in dynamic environments by embracing these experiences.
During the preparation for the event, a significant challenge arose in the form of financial constraints. To overcome this obstacle, I proactively engaged in discussions with the advisor. I presented the financial limitations we faced and the potential impact on the program, emphasizing the importance of securing funding for its success.
This experience taught me the importance of proactively addressing challenges and seeking support when faced with obstacles. It reinforced the significance of effective communication and collaboration in finding solutions. By maintaining an open mindset and embracing creative problem-solving approaches, I was able to navigate the financial challenge and ensure the program's success.
Participating as both the director and participant in KEM PEMANTAPAN JAWATANKUASA KOLEJ MAHASISWA KOLEJ TUN DR. ISMAIL 2023 has been a transformative journey.
