Mini Report:
Covid-19 had done a tremendous effect in our life and still we are not completely saved from it. During COVID 19 pandemic time in Malaysian government imposed adamant movement ban and keeping students on lockdown on every university campus. So, like that we the students of UTM are not also permitted to leave our place. But our university was too much caring. During this time UTM provided free lunch and dinner for all students who were in campus. This duty was assigned to each hostel. Kdoj authorities requested to help in the distribution of meals. At that very moment, the student is wasting precious time. The university had a terrible issue in ensuring a good two-meal menu. All students admired UTM's compassion and made every effort to work with them. Food quality, quantity, and cleanliness were the topics of discussion. It was very beneficial to all students, who were given proper treatment by university officials as a result. This is when Kdoj college creates a lovely bond and affection with each and every one of its students.
Self-Reflection:
The covid-19 time was very depressing time for me. Actually, at that moment we all were new about this pandemic. And we did not have enough knowledge about this. Again, I was very much anxious about my daily life. Because there was complete banned. No movement was allowed. I did not have any idea how I will fulfill my daily necessities. But thanks to the almighty that our university authority was too much helpful. They initiated a program where they were providing two times meal during the whole pandemic time. And I get myself attached in this program because I was squandering my valuable time. I gained a lot of experience from this program. Almost 300 over international students were in hostel and it was very difficult to maintaining by office. For this reason, I decided to be a volunteer for food distributor for make sure everyone get their meals properly. Besides it was also important to maintain health securities during food distribution time as it was crowded with the students. It was a wonderful experienced for me to work as a volunteer during this time and I was really grateful to Kdoj. From that point on, I am aware of the University's concern for its students. UTM proved that how much they love their students and in case time of any kind of emergency they wont set back themselves to play their role. I highly appreciate this step of UTM.
