Mini Report

The Mjiit Japan Day event was an extremely exciting and enjoyable experience for me, as I have long been a fan of Japanese culture. The event was multifaceted and offered a wide range of activities, including the chance to sample Japanese cuisine, practice calligraphy, collect cute stamps, wear kimonos, and create origami art. There was something for everyone, from those who were new to Japanese culture to those who were already familiar with it and wanted to deepen their understanding.

One of the highlights of the event was the opportunity for companies to showcase their work and attract potential employees. Our university was also able to promote its programs and attract new master's and PhD students. This aspect of the event was particularly useful for students who were looking for job opportunities or who were interested in pursuing further education. It also gave attendees a chance to learn more about the companies and organizations operating in Japan.

In addition to the job fair aspect of the event, there were numerous stalls set up throughout the venue, each offering a unique glimpse into Japanese culture. The calligraphy stall, for example, provided participants with the opportunity to practice the art of writing Japanese characters with a brush and ink. The stamp-collecting stall allowed participants to create their own stamps and collect unique designs. At the kimono stall, attendees were able to try on traditional Japanese clothing and take photos to commemorate the experience. The origami stall was particularly popular, with participants learning to create intricate paper designs and taking home their creations as souvenirs.

To keep things interesting and engaging, the event also featured two prize-giving sessions, which gave attendees the chance to win prizes and provided a break from the other activities. The prizes were a token of appreciation for attendees and a way to show gratitude for their participation.

Overall, the MJIIT Japan Day event was an outstanding experience that offered something for everyone. It allowed participants to explore and learn about Japanese culture while also providing opportunities for networking, job searching, and education. I would highly recommend attending a similar event to anyone who has an interest in Japan and its culture. The event was also very well organized.

Self Reflection

Attending the Mjiit Japan Day event was an eye-opening experience for me, as it taught me the importance of punctuality and allowed me to explore Japanese culture in a fun and engaging way. Throughout the event, I made a conscious effort to arrive at each activity on time, which helped me to fully participate in each experience and make the most of my time there.

As I explored the various stalls and tried new activities, I found myself striking up conversations with new people and making new friends. It was thrilling to meet people from different backgrounds and exchange cultural knowledge and experiences. I appreciated the opportunity to learn from others and broaden my horizons.

Overall, attending the MJIIT Japan Day event was an enriching experience that allowed me to learn new things about myself and the world around me. I now understand the value of punctuality and the importance of taking advantage of opportunities to learn about new cultures and meet new people.
