Week 5
Civil Engineering Fundamentals
In week 5, I have learnt about Environmental Engineering. Environmental engineering is one of the disciplines that make a development by ensuring the condition of environment. For example, building that are generated by only sunlight. Environmental engineering also are always focusing on how to ensure that maintain environment to stay clean and better. In this week, I have also have been given a task. The task is making a video about environment issues. My group has made a video about air pollution.
Soil Mechanics
In week 5, I have learnt about Soil Compaction. Soil compaction is meant by to press the soil particles tightly together by expelling air from the void space. There are two types of soil compaction. First is field compaction and second is dynamics compaction.
