This programmed was conducted by SKM for all the mechanical students at Dewan Sultan Iskandar. this programmed was compulsory for every mechanical students to attend on 3rd March 2020. There are some booth at there that consist of career booth, business booth and etc. Huawei team has been prepared the talk for that day which the talk about the career, business and HR Insights. the programmed not only focus on the talk but there are also Huawei product showcase and Huawei team also provide free HR consultation for students.
Self-Reflection
Based on the programmed that I have attended, I had learn about the Huawei company background which is Huawei Technologies was created in Shenzhen, China in 1987 as a rural sales representative for Hong Kong-based phone and cable network companies. As China's urban population grew rapidly between 1996 and 1998, Huawei began to expand into metropolitan regions. According to McKinsey & Company, China's urban population will reach one billion by 2030, with 221 cities with more than one million residents by 2025, compared to 35 in Europe. Large cities need complicated communication networks, and Huawei has grown at an incredible rate by expanding on and meeting this demand. Huawei's products and solutions are now used in over 170 countries, reaching more than one-third of the world's population. the most important thing that i gained from this programmed is the tips during job interview for fresh graduates that shared by the Huawei HR team and all the job interview tips are stated as below :
- Be punctual at your interview
- Do research about the company
- Don't forget about nonverbal communication
- be prepared for the interview
- Be polite with everyone
