It was a thrilling moment when I was appointed to be the director of 'Mind Your Shape, Shape Your Mind' online program, as it was my very first time handling event as the leader. But I was determined to conduct it with full of preparation and determination, to prove my ownself I am capable of leading a team after all these years of just getting led by. Three months in prior, I'd planned a thorough plan and back ups for emergency, and to be very honest, I was kind of proud of myself to be able to pull this challenge successfully.
However, a life is not a life if there's no downside of it, throughout preparations, there are some situations that quite unpredictable, but, remaining calm and think creative and critical, quick decision-making were the essences to tackle it. With the help and support from my teammates too, of course. This event was aim to emphasize how the balance of mental and physical health plays important roles to ensure the stability lifestyle of ones. Plus, to make it more convincing, I linked this program with one of the Sustainable Developmental Goals, which is 'Good Health and Well-being'.
Overall, I am satisfied on most of the parts when handling this event, but there are still big room of improvements I need to do to be better in the future, as a leader and as a human.
