Bigger role, bigger responsibility. I believed it takes lots of courage and confidence for ones to carry this role, and I was chosen to be one for the program that I've suggested for Psychology Interactive Club (PSYCHIC).
This role started with me recruiting my Co-Director who had helped me a lot to bring this program to success, as it was definitely not an easy task. Then, we worked together to list and assign detailed tasks for committees to execute. Committees were give folders and files to refer for their tasks, deadlines and periods are given for them to have proper time management between personal and working matters. Any issues occurred during the preparation are dealt calmly and professionally for any involved parties heard and reached mutual agreement.
Throughout the preparation, I was taught a lot for patience and understanding, especially when I started to realize not everything can go as we want, and as leader, I need to portray a good image for the committees to stay positive and work efficiently. Any decisions that I made definitely had its impacts, minor or major. As a leader, I need to remind myself I am the pillar for committees to rely, thus it is important to be responsible and care for all the progresses related to 'Mind Your Shape, Shape Your Mind' program.
