This is one of the events that really help me a lot in many aspects, especially in leveling up my graduate attributes. Below are the explanations:
- Communication Skills (CS7) : As I had to approach a number of talented individuals as speakers, I was taught and exposed on professional communication skills - verbally and non-verbally. I am proud with the progress I've made when contacting individuals from different backgrounds, beliefs, cultures, and principles they hold in their life. I learnt how to negotiate and come to a mutual conclusion in a discussion professionally too.
- Adaptability (AD4) : Throughout my journey as a member of TEDxUTM2022, I've seen and worked with people with different working styles, which was a culture shock for me. But I did realize how important for me to get back on my feet, catch up and cover on tasks related to my unit. Since it's a teamwork, not all decisions can go by my favor, but I started to pick up on skill and confidence to initiate and implement relevant changes that can benefits the team by majority.
- Thinking Skills (TH6) : TEDxUTM2022 was definitely a big and important event so it's important to be systematic in executing plans and ideas. It gave me the urge on thinking critically, holistically, and systematically to avoid unnecessary critical situations for the team. Multiple schedules and back up plans were made in order to keep track on progress and be active at the same time.
