Reflection
Webinar Pemerkasaan Bidang TVET Untuk Kekal Relevan, Pemacu Masa Hadapan dan Lestari was an event made by Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FSSH). This event was held on 11th January 2022 via an online Webex meeting. In this event, my position or role was participation. The invited speaker was a leader of technical and vocational fields and was invited to share his experience in this fields. After listening to his speech, he emphasized how important it is to acknowledge our self information management and life-long learning skills. The speaker mentioned that learning does not stop when we graduated, it is a continuous activity since we were born.
A student needs to be involved in academics and extracurricular activities in order to comprehend the context of life-long learning skills. The student council or faculty may have organised programmes or events that can be participated in. For a student's future success, this soft skill is absolutely essential. The speaker continues by explaining that in order to get a job as a recent graduate, we must compete with other job seekers for a position in the organisation. An benefit on a Curriculum vitae later on could be having experience managing a program or joining a committee. As we may eventually be in charge of handling it in the workplace, it is a lifelong learning skill. After hearing the speech, I had the courage to join as many events as I could, knowing that doing so would enhance both my knowledge and my abilities.
The ESC Video Editing Workshop, which was carried on by the UTM Esports Club, was the first event I went to. On November 16, 2021, the event took place online via Google Meet and Webex. My place or function in this situation was participation. Due to the government's restraining order, the majority of the students were still staying in their own homes when the incident took place. This online workshop on video editing was being held, which is important in the modern world. I was able to learn how to rapidly and successfully edit my film in accordance with the current trend by participating in this event. We all know that possessing soft skills can help students stand out to potential employers when they apply for jobs. We were able to learn how to use Adobe Creative Cloud, a piece of editing software, through this course. Although though this session was conducted online, the teacher and moderator were able to impart their knowledge and skills to the majority of the participants.
I can relate to communication skills in light of the attribute for graduate success. The reason is that everyone needs to communicate in order to produce a great video as a consequence. Each person can express their ideas for the video by communicating. Other than that, good communication will make the video editing process go well. When we work with our coworkers, communication skills are crucial, as we all know. Communication skills are relevant to this incident since editing video needs creativity. By communicating, one can connect the creative mind to the process of making a video.
The Sarong Sports and Carnival Program is being organized by Business Communication (SBSC 3153) with the collaboration of the UTM Accounting Club (UTMAC). The activities took place at kolej 9/10 field. In this activities, I do participate as a unit of present and I am sure that the objective of wanting us to be able to work in a team, take responsibility over all tasks assigned and build a good networking and communication amongst us is greatly accomplished based on how we have managed to hold the Sarong Sports and Carnival programme. Besides, I have gained a lot of skills from this event. For example, I have learned how to work in a group, how to be a good team member, and some skills such as communication skills, organizing skills, problem solving skills, time management skills, and so on. I have learned the value of teamwork. I therefore always cooperate with my group, respond to their questions, pay attention, and appreciate the opinions of all members. We all had different strengths that worked well together as a group to achieve and produce a great event, as was obvious. We do occasionally face last-minute plan changes, which is rather extreme for us, but thankfully we are able to overcome it and plan effectively as a group, and the issue was resolved effectively. My experience from these courses has proven to be useful to me and my classmates as we approach our new endeavors and use it in our daily lives. In short, it is a great learning experience that I can use even in my working time.

The Community Service for English Communication at National Cancer Society Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur is being organized by English Communication Subject (ULAB 2222). I had done this community project at National Cancer Society Malaysia, which is located at 66, Jalan Raja Muda Abdul Aziz, 50300 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. It was established in 1966, NCSM are a tax-exempt charity body registered under the laws of the Malaysian Societies Act and Registrar of Societies Malaysia. This kind of community project gave me a lot of good experience that I could never get in other places. All the activities that I involved were totally fun and something new and I am so happy that me and my friends chose National Cancer Society Malaysia as our community service. Even at first I am so nervous because I am scared that I could not do the tasks but everything was fun and I enjoyed every tasks that I do on that day. This community service makes me more appreciate on what we are given on our life. We believe that reading and writing about our experiences may allow us to achieve greater self-awareness and more of a sense of community among colleagues and, through this, allow us to be better at what we do and to derive greater enjoyment from it. During the preparation of this final project, I understand that One lesson from last year stands out, and serves as an umbrella for many other lessons. The fact is, we never truly know what others are going through. It takes effort and selflessness to put ourselves in other people’s shoes.

The Community Service at Hulu Langat, Selangor is being organized by Cementfero Club with the collaboration of the UTMKL Club which lead by Professor Madya Zainudin Bin Abdul Razak. The main goal of this project is to help and teach the community local regarding the science of cementfero. With this, knowledge sharing is not only can expand the knowledge of the community, and can even help the community to generate extra side income in their spare time. In addition, this program can also be used as a platform for students as well in planning, implementing, leading programs, collaborating and
take an active role in group work. This is important because experience and knowledge in designing a program can be practiced in daily life and also the future of students. The organization of this program is to help students who lack of confidence and practical skills, in an effort to improve manufacturing knowledge their cementfero. This program is also for students to gain knowledge and also gain experience and teach outside communities in the science of manufacturing cementfero. The result of this program is also expected to be able to provide facilities such as a set of chairs and tables along with cementfero benches around the Hulu Langat area. Convenience this is produced and made during the program.
