Technology And Information System (SECP1513)
Actions that is necessary for me to improve my potential in the industry will be me, improving my knowledge on technologies. Attending all these industry talks, made me realise how incompetent I am as a student and as an employee. Therefore, with all time left before I finished my studies, I will try my best to improve my understanding regarding technologies.
My course is software engineering. My dream that is related to my course will be, me creating a software that can help a lot of people. As an example, a software that can help people to improve their communication with people around them.
In my opinion, from this subject, which is Technology and Information System, I was able to learn and gain a lot of new knowledge. Honestly, at the start of this semester, I only have a little bit of information about technology, information system, and even industry revolution. This is because, before this I was not really interested with all these things. But after taking this subject, joining all those industry talks, hearing all those successful people giving talk to us, it helps me to realise how important it is for me to be more interested with technologies, information system and more. Therefore, thanks to this subject I was able to learn a lot of new information and skills. Not only that, with this realisation, I will also be trying my best to improve my knowledge and skills related to technology, IR 4.0, and others.
My lecturer for this subject is Dr Layla Hassan. She is such a compassionate, considerate, and courteous lecturer. Thanks to her, we manage to complete and finish all our task and work efficiently. Truth to be told, at the beginning of this semester, I was nervous to start my first class with her. But due to her kindness and generousness, I manage to get used to her teaching, and slowly this subject start to become one of my favourite subjects for this semester. In the future, I hope I will be able to join more class with her as my lecturer.
In my opinion, this subject helps me to improve my knowledge in a lot of area but if I need to be specific enough, I think it would be Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0). Truth to be told, before taking subject, I didn’t have much information about IR 4.0. But at the end of this subject, there is a lot of things I manage to understand. One of it will be, IR 4.0 technologies such as Internet of Things, Big Data, and Cloud Computing.
