AWS

My journey to obtaining the AWS badge began when my lecturer, Dr/ hairudin enrolled me According to Dr. from the AWS Academy, you can earn an AWS badge only after completing all AWS labs and testing your knowledge in all ten modules. The process of learning everything related to AWS was still manageable.

That's because every module comes with an explanation video and slides for those who can't hear it. Each module ended with a knowledge test section followed by several hands-on exercises introducing AWS in some modules. You had to score at least 80% to pass the knowledge test before moving on to the next module, but nothing to worry about as you can repeat it as many times as you want. For the hands-on, step-by-step instructions are helpful for people like me who have no idea how AWS services work.

However, I paused for a moment on how to proceed with the lab because some of the instructions provided were not updated to the latest version of AWS. So, I randomly clicked on the available icons and then clicked another new experience on AWS. After the doctor gave a general briefing on how to use AWS in the first session, we started the first week with an introduction to AWS. I originally planned to complete 2 modules per week, but I was able to complete all 10 modules in week 4. To recap, it took me about 4 weeks to complete all AWS modules.

These modules are tedious to complete, especially after attending daily classes, but the moment you earn your AWS badge is worth every hour of learning AWS. The design of the digital badge is simple, but as a beginner in cloud computing, the words "Graduate" were engraved to signify that I had completed all AWS courses, so I felt a sense of accomplishment.
