Industrial Talks Reflection /
7th Industrial Talk

We learned about Microsoft Power BI software and the Data Engineering field from Industrial Talk 7. Mr. Isma Redha, an iCEP data engineer, gave the presentation. Mr. Isma gave many tips on how to succeed in data engineering studies, as well as the criteria and rules for becoming a data engineer. He also gave some pointers on how to get the most out of Power BI, such as not using more than six colors in a single layout because it will make it difficult for the user to read the data, using formal fonts and elements, and avoiding high contrast color combinations on the chart. Though business intelligence products are typically the domain of business analysts and data scientists, Power BI can be used by a wide range of people within a company due to its user-friendly nature. Power BI can create custom dashboards based on the data that is relevant and the information that we require. Power BI can also work with whatever data we give it, allowing us to report on almost anything. Finance, marketing, sales, human resources, information technology, and operations are among the departments that use it the most. However, because few businesses have the resources or need for a full-time data engineer, Power BI is frequently used as a self-service tool by various departments to track progress and gain insight into their team's performance.
