Mr Goh gave us an overview of the world's situation over the last 24-months with covid-19 in the first few minutes of the talk. Everyone uses their devices to live their daily lives virtually. Almost everything, including meetings, bill payment, and keeping in touch with relatives, is done virtually via the internet. We can achieve convenience in life with the emerging technology in network infrastructure. For example, we have smart lighting, environmental air monitoring, an automated lock, and much more on campus. Those innovations are undeniably beneficial to students conducting experiments and conducting research. All of the technology that expresses the phrase 'Smart Campus,' as well as the networking of that technology, is extremely important. As a result, a solid network infrastructure is required to ensure that networking functions properly. Some employers may experience a loss of business as a result of unanticipated network connectivity issues. To make network maintenance easier, we need to create more automated, self-optimizing, and self-healing network environments. This is due to the fact that obtaining an optimized and secure network infrastructure takes time and is not an easy task. To improve existing network infrastructure technologies for the next generation, we need to gain more knowledge and master this field.
