I have gained a lot of knowledge and valuable experience during my journey to completing the course. After I finished the whole module, I got my AWS badge and AWS certificate. I was very happy when I got the badge. To be honest, I am lacking knowledge in this area. There was a time, when my friends in my foundation year, talked about how the computer saved the data and so on. However, because I am not an expert in this field, I just listened to their explanation on how Cloud Computing works. Fortunately, in my degree, I am exposed to this information in detail on how the system works. After this, when my friends talk about technology and Cloud Computing, I can understand and explain well to them, so I can also immerse myself in their conversation. It excites me and gives me the motivation to learn more and finish the whole module.
At first, I did not understand much about the module (especially when I started module 4), since I was exploring each of the modules given, I tried to understand it by watching the explanation, but there was a lab session that guided me on how to apply the knowledge in Cloud Computing. So, it is very helpful for me because I can apply my knowledge in a real-life situation. There are many challenges during my journey to completing the module, so I think the badge is worth it. It is an exciting memory and also challenging since there is a time restriction on completing the module. The module improves my knowledge and skills in Cloud Computing, so I think it also increases employment quality.
Personally, I think every company should shift to Cloud Computing since it will cut the cost so it is a more efficient solution than storing the database in a data center facility. I think everyone in UTM needs to learn Cloud Computing, it will increase their knowledge and also increase their job capability. I did recommend it to my other friend and encouraged them to take the AWS module. It is very useful knowledge for the future.
I think in the future, I will learn more details on Cloud Security since this is the most crucial part of our new modern world. There are many issues on cyber security, so I planned to do more research on this part. I think learning AWS Cloud Computing is a need in our new technology world. So I think getting an AWS badge in SECP1513 is a good plan for students.
