How did I get the badge?
After completing the full AWS foundation course, I received an automated email from the administration of the course informing me that I need to claim my badge on a website called "Credly". I created an account and had full access to my badge, as well as the certificate which indicates the completion of my course.
Learning path from zero to hero
When I first heard that we will be having a course about cloud computing, I felt both excited and intrigued, since it wasn't that common of a subject to me. So, I started exploring the internet for some info about cloud computing. One of our group assignments helped with the accumulation of info as well. Once we've had access to the AWS course, I started watching the teaching videos and passing the modules, until I completely finished the whole course. It was a complete knowledge shift to me, from knowing absolutely nothing, until the time of receiving my certificate. Exploration outside the course also helped significantly.
When did I start?
I started the course on 16/12/2021 with some minor background about AWS and the nature of cloud computing from the previous industry talk presented by APU professor and lecturer Dr. Qousay.
I went through the first module on the first day, because I was trying to speed through it since I started it later than I should.
How did I complete the 10 modules?
The road was tough indeed, but I ended up finishing everything on time in the end. The whole course was full of knowledge, and it helped me acquire a comprehensive background about Cloud Computing generally, and AWS cloud services specifically.
What does the badge look like?
I like the concept of the badge, it reminds me of the scout days back when I was a kid.
