Pengambilan Ahli Baharu Sem 1 (2021/2022) is a new and challenging program for me because I have been selected to shoulder great responsibilities as head of the unit. I feel that this is the experiences that need for me to learn about leadership and responsibilities to improve myself.
As I was responsible as a head of multimedia and publicity unit, communication skill is very important as I need to communicate with my team members to know and understanding the flow of programs also design and create posters and video. I was able to voicing my idea and opinion with team members. Next, Thinking Skills and Leadership and Teamworking Skills is an attributes that essential part of skills. Every committee members should understand their own job scope and responsibility to run the program smoothly for a month. Me and my teams have to brainstorming in order to come out with the best idea and design triggering our critical thinking skills. The program are involving the public, hence these skills play a significant roles to avoid misunderstanding and unwanted accidents. Scholarship also the Graduate Attributes that I gained from this program. I learn to be complemented by a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence, as demonstrated by outstanding achievement.
Even though there are some problem occur before and during the problem like less active on social media, late to post a countdown poster and Lack of support from association members for blast the programs, we able to learn from it and come out with an improvement like make sure the poster or video is ready much early, more active in social media, always alert for the blasting time stated and ask cooperation of association members to blast the programs.
Lastly, Pengambilan Ahli Baharu Sem 1 (2021/2022) provides me with guidance and tolerance which I may use in the future to aid me in my decisions. It is also enables me to develop new skills that I would otherwise may not have been able to develop and give impact in my life by empowering me through the experience.
