WAN AMIRUL HAFIQ BIN WAN HUZAINI's Reflection

Reflection on course PROBABILITY & STATISTICAL DATA ANALYSIS (SECI2143)

Upon taking this course, I learned a lot of things. For example, the first chapter teaches me about data types either it is qualitative or quantitative. Subsequently, in chapter 3, I learned about data analysis starting with data collecting to central tendency. I have also been assigned to a group for project 1, which mainly teaches how to collect primary data through questionnaires and do data analysis. I was fortunate to learn all these new things as I am sure that I will use this often in the future. After that, I understand how to display data using r programming. Afterward, in chapter 6, I learned about contingencies that were used to complete our group project 2. I also learned how to create a hypothesis statement using a mathematical method. This chapter is crucial because it can be implemented in a real-life situation where a company needs to forecast data. Therefore, I am excited to complete this course as it is very convenient for me as a Data Engineering student which primarily involves data analysis. Most importantly, I would like to thank Dr. Norazizah Binti Ali for all the guidance and assistance that we need to complete the task and project. In short, I am happy to have the opportunity to take this course and do this project.

REFLECTION ON AWS

I have learned most of the things about cloud computing services that Amazon provides. For example, building a server can be very costly especially when your company is new but AWS it can save lots of money, energy, and space. Completing this module can be very time-consuming especially when other assignments are piling up. Luckily I managed to complete it within time after I planned carefully my free time to watch the modules at least one module a week.  I realised that time management is very important especially when you are a student. In response to that, I will spend my time wisely. Getting this badge is certainly not easy as I have zero knowledge about AWS. Nevertheless, the module did help me to understand. For me, module 5 is the hardest. It is about Networking and content delivery which include network security. Meanwhile, the easiest module is module 1 as it teaches you about the basics of the cloud. Getting the badge definitely made me proud as I learned a lot of things that not everybody can have. Upon learning about the cloud, I can say that companies should shift towards cloud computing as it is cost-effective and very efficient. Students also should try learning about cloud computing and take the AWS courses as it is a piece of very useful knowledge.

GOT MY AWS BADGE

It all started when Dr.Izyan assign everyone in her class to participate in AWS academy courses. The main thing about this academy is to train us to understand AWS Cloud computing which is currently one of the best platforms to do so. Throughout the courses, I have completed the 10 modules given which were filled with videos explaining every detail about AWS and also Lab sessions. At the end of every module, we were given some questions to test our understanding. I started the course on 18 November 2021 and finished on 21 January 2022. It has been a long journey to complete the 10 modules but I managed to fully understand most of the AWS content. The badge was given in the digital form.
