On 19th July to 8th October 2021, I had the opportunity to perform my internship at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia Kuala Lumpur's Center of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIRO). During this internship, my scope of work is to develop training modules of Google Data Studio which is one of the data analytic tool that free to everyone. Aside from that, I performed some research about defect detection. I'll give an overview of my internship experiences, as well as my personal and professional development, in my reflection. I have worked under Dr Uswah with six trainers including me, Amli, Izzudin, Annur, Asmah, and Arisa.
Before go through about the training module, I had do some researches regarding defect detection under Smart Manufacturing topic. I got the journal from UTM Library and there are a lot of journals that attracted my attention and I kept ten journals as shown in the figure below.
In a nutshell, I have built training modules of Google Data Studio in PDF and there have 6 modules which are Fundamental (Module1), Reports (Module2), Customization (Module 3), Templates (Module 4), Management (Module 5), and Advanced Topics (Module 6). After finishing those modules, I have recorded video of the training modules and uploaded it into Youtube and those training module in pdf and videos were uploaded into MJIIT internal website. There have two times workshops for staffs’ MJIIT in order to teach them on how to use Data Studio and these workshop took 4 hours from 9 am to 1 pm. My last activities is to assist staffs’ MJIIT about Data Studio and I have to assist six divisions which are MOT Department, MPE Department, International, Lab DPPC, Lab Management Unit, and Quality & Strategic Unit. All of these divisions’ dashboard will be uploaded into MJIIT International Website.
Last but not least, I'd also like to express my gratitude and admiration to Dr Uswah and my team members, Asmah, Arisa, Annur, Amli, and Izzudin, for all of their assistance, direction, and commitment to accomplishing the tasks assigned to them. I will work hard to put my newly acquired knowledge and abilities to the best possible use, and I will continue to improve in order to achieve my career goals and be the greatest version of myself.
