My goal is to excel in Computer Science (Bioinformatics) program especially in Technology and Information System. At beginning, I thought this course will be difficult and I cannot cope in this course. I also didn’t have any basics regarding Computer Science. My motivation level and interest towards this course was decreasing. In order to achieve my goal, I have taken an initiative on studying it back with full focus and with some interest. I can see myself enjoy studying this course and the motivation in me to excel in this course also increases. I have wanted to master in coding and this program help me to achieve my goal. All the aspects from this course gives a deep knowledge on the overall Computer Science program and the benefit of it for the future. This course gives an idea on the IT careers that will be suitable for me to focus on after I have graduate. I have understood that this program is challenging and that increase my interest to overcome the challenge. All I needed to do was focusing and have some patience. I hope that I can graduate from this course with flying colors. I believe that this course will guide me to do something related to technology that benefits the community without any harm to the nature.
To improve my potential in the industry, I should improve my problem-solving skills. The ability to handle challenging situations is necessary to produce the best solution. When dealing with a problem we should assess our options to determine the best solution.
Secondly, I should improve my communication skills. Communication skills will help to understand what others are saying and convey our own ideas. With the skill, I can interact about the problems and solutions needed for it from other perspectives to produce a good outcome
Thirdly, I should improve my professionalism. Professionalism is about the behavior of people who are serious of their task or job. It’s about timeliness, organization and many more. Being professional will self-motivate me and make myself accountable for my actions without needing oversight from others. This skill will portray me as a person who perform well all the task given.
Next, I should improve my leadership skills because it enables me to motivate others to complete task and at the same time it motivates me to complete that task too. With this skill I can work towards shared goals.
I have completed all the assignments given in this course. Each of the assignment focuses on a specific area. I have gained a lot of knowledge throughout doing the assignments. The difficulties of assignments increase along the way. From assignment 1, I have learned about the 4th Industrial Revolution and the effects of it. Assignment 2 focuses on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Cloud Computing. From here I have gotten some input about the AWS. Assignment 3 was about Emerging Network Technology on application of 5G, Wi-Fi 6 and Network Infrastructure. Assignment 4 was about Data Analytics which emphasizes on the usage of Microsoft Power BI, and we learned to build our own online dashboard. My group members and I did a low fidelity prototype project. The project gives a solid understanding of how the future applications should be developed. So, overall, the subject gives a lot of input specifically on Technology and Information System via the assessments. The assessments widen my knowledge in this field.
I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to my lecturer, Puan Azurah Binti A Samah for guiding us throughout the semester for the course Technology and Information System (SECP1513). Your guidance and attention have made us to complete our assessments successfully. I have enjoyed the classes and thank you for the knowledge you have given us. We will sure benefit from it. With your teaching, we have learned the necessary skills required for this course. My profound thanks go to my group members from group 1 for helping me and giving support whenever I need it in completing my assignments.
