Impact of the activities on the development of the students’ Graduate Attributes
In this project, I developed multiple graduate attributes. One of them is Leadership and teamworking skills, we worked in a group of 6 including of the project director, and five other organizing committee, in the duration of the progress, we faced a lot of difficulties and challenges along the way especially when we are planning the project and also executing the project. I learned how to work in a team and communicate well to have a clear communication and sort things out in a regular meeting, I am able to voice out my opinion comfortably and listen to other’s as well. Furthermore, I was given a chance to lead the volunteers and help and solve the problems that they faces by always consulting them and giving them guidance. The last Graduate Attributes that are focused on is Thinking Skills. In the process of planning of the project, I learn to think out of the box, we are required to be innovative and have critical thinking to make the project run smoothly.
Self strength/advantage towards the activities
In this project, I can utilize my strength where I am always calm and steady when I face any instantaneous challenges and difficulties. It is very useful during the webinars and workshop where we need to face the technical issues or people issues during the streaming process. Furthermore, I am also a very logical and calming person to calm down the team meetings and give some logical opinion to avoid any conflicts that happening in a team.
Challenges and how to overcome
One of the challenges that we face is one of the volunteer is out of reach when we are having workshop, it was due to the connectivity issues. In that instance , we immediately take over the specific part that he are supposed to present to solve the problem. In the team, we are always lack of innovation in creating a project that is very impactful even though is in the virtual environment, to solve this, we try to research and look for information online and look at other project that had run successfully in virtual to help on our problem.
