Program "I Am A Fighter" is a program that giving exposure to people out there on how to handle patient with cancer from emotion and physical aspect. The reason why I joined this program is because I am very interested to let people out there to know what cancer patient need. Some patient may not in need of financially support but they need someone that they could hold their hope to continue living. By joining this program, I can learn various ways on how to manage with cancer patient emotionally and physically. It is really giving me an exposure and useful information that I may be need in future.
One of the graduate attributes that are related with this program is communication skills. As i am being assign as Deputy Director, communication skills are vital in order for me to receive and giving information from other exco. Thus, by joining this program I am able to enhance my communication skills by communication with other members in most understanding way. This attributes teach me that when communication is done effectively, everyone could understand each of the information given and the program could run smoothly.
The second graduate attribute that related to this program is leadership and teamworking skills. By joining this program, I could learn on how to lead effectively. Good leading will contribute to good members that will possibly paid off. Teamworking also is important in order for the program to run smoothly. When everyone know their roles and having a great teamwork, this program could achieve it objective.
Program "I Am A Fighter" is a charity program that give useful information on how to handle cancer patient. We invited the speaker from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia which are an anthropology and was a volunteer for Perth Cancer Care Career Community (2018). We also raise fund from the public to be given to cancer patient in Hospital Sultan Ismail.
