My Reflections
Firstly, I was facing with a variety of data types at the start of this class. The information represented by the various sorts of variables comes from a variety of sources, such as our daily lives or commercial enterprises. In this course I was able to investigate a few techniques for parameter estimation from various distributions. The hypothesis testing is used to do further data analysis. At first, it was quite difficult, but thanks to the exercises and discussions Dr.Sharin led in class, everything became obvious.
Turning to my experience with this project, I've gained a lot of knowledge. To began, I've learnt how to collect data from individuals, how to work with samples and conduct hypothesis tests using them, and of course, how to write a formal data analysis report. When I performed goodness of fit, I had to deal with a lot of samples and run a test that determined how the proportions for each variable different from one another.
My overall course experience was positive, but I must admit that Dr. Sharin made it even better for us by providing easily available resources and live discussion sessions. I want to express my deepest gratitude to our Dr. for all of her wonderful and amazing efforts.
What is your goal/dream concerning your course/program?
My ambition is to become a professional network engineer, which demands a wide understanding of Networks from various perspectives. The first step toward achieving my goal is to study my current program, 'Network and Security.' I believe that curiosity and improvement will be the most crucial components. Nonetheless, I am still attempting to maximize the program's benefits.
What is the action/improvement/plan necessary for you to improve your
potential in the industry?
Firstly, I have to work hard as much as possible. In addition, I have to attend Industrial Talks as well as additional courses to get the information about my course much better as well as improving myself
Your opinion on whether this subject contributes to your knowledge on specific
area?
Actually, I had no idea where or when to begin, Although the network field requires knowledge from a wide range of fields, TIS course covered a wide range of topics in the digital world, from simple networking to cloud computing, which helped me figure out where to begin learning about all of these fields.
Acknowledgement for your lecturer.
Dr. Sarina Sulaiman, my lecturer, was extremely supportive and helpful. She prefers to interact with her students in class and do a variety of activities for us rather than just talking for hours, and she is always available to answer questions about the assignments or topics.
Firstly, we have learned so many things by doing this project only. In addition, many things
that we have achieved and learned have motivated us to complete this project but I'm going
to mention some of them. Which are, for example, we learned how to use and build
applications in an excellent way, we also learned how to establish good scientific research
and surely we learned how to make Low-fidelity Prototypes for any project that we need to
develop, as well as the significant benefit from them. Moreover, We have learned
professionally how to use the AWS and benefit from it in our practical and scientific lives, and
take the advantages of all Amazon Web Services services and apply them in real life.
However, AWS is a very broad and deep field. Although we’ve learned from it superficially,
we've benefited substantially a lot from it and found it a vital requirement in the technology of
the modern world. Subsequently, although we’ve faced difficulties in learning and creating
Low-fidelity Prototypes, we’ve learned essential things to help and motivate us in our journey
in computer science and we expect that it will benefit greatly in the future.
Secondly, even though that we’ve found the project is something interesting, we’ve been
facing many problems and difficulties, but we didn't stop there, as we tried very hard to to
find many solutions, to illustrate we have faced a problem with Invision studio app but we
didn't surrender, hence, we watched many and many tutorials as well as we have tried to
know all the components that the program has.
Thirdly, after completing this project I have got some thoughts and ideas that I might follow
them in the future, for instance, designing AWS architecture is something very interesting
and complicated at the same time, however, it is very crucial thing to learn so that we can
build great projects, as well as successful application ideas using the professional software
applications (e.g. Adobe XD). From my perspective I would say that in the future I will go
deeper and deeper in learning this field, specifically after discovering the way it works, and
how interesting and motivating it is.
Finally, as I see I have to improve my social skills firstly, this is because social skills and
teamworking are the most critical parts on doing any project or any complex work, in
addition, it will substantially increase the productivity and creativity and reducing the number
of mistakes as well as it will save hundreds of minutes and reduce the cost. Moreover, I have
to be a hard working person. From my perspective the computer science field, in general,
isn't that easy, we have to work hard and organize every minute of our day very carefully,
and I think we have to love it so we can put more effort while learning it. In conclusion, as we
all know, technology is improving every single minute, so we have to be up-to-date with the
new inventions and technologies.
Challenges I have faced while preparing and completing
this course are that there weren't lots of information and explanations
for each challenge on the slides for some topics. As a result, due to a lack
of information, I am having difficulty understanding this topic in depth.
However, Dr.Rozeyta Omar didn't only explain what was in the slides,
she really taught and explained to us much more than that, she has been
discussing many interesting topics with us as well. Finally, from my
perspective I would say I didn't even expect that this course would be that
interesting and full of information like that, but Dr.Rozeyta made me love
this course. Moreover, I am upset because we took this course online, it
would be much better if it was Face-to-face, even though I enjoyed with
this coursed and I am really proud that I was in Dr.Rozeyta's class.
Many concepts and current topics of our generation were discussed in the Technology Information System course. Modules, industry talks, and the AWS course were all part of the curriculum. While the modules we learned in class covered core concepts in various technologies, the industrial talks exposed us to the real world and the technologies that are in demand in the industry. Other than the industrial talks, we were also invited to take an AWS cloud computing course, which proved to be very useful when working on our project. Without a doubt, this course helped me to develop a variety of skills and learn about a variety of topics. When working on group assignments and projects, I was also able to improve my teamwork and communication skills.
Besides, I can say that this course has made me realize the importance of technology in our society, especially since we are in the midst of the 4th Industrial Revolution, in which technology is used in almost every industry. I've been able to describe technology and its components throughout this course. I could also improve my understanding of how to use the numerous digital programs available. Just a few examples include Microsoft Power Bi, Proto.io, and Adobe XD. These are the software programs that I used to complete my assignments and projects.
Generally speaking, this is one of the most important and useful courses I've taken this semester, and having a kind and passionate lecturer made the learning experience even more enjoyable. Dr. Sarina has been a true inspiration to me throughout this course, and she has always gone out of her way to assist us. I'm hoping to have the opportunity to take similar courses as part of my educational journey.

I have done al the modules, however module 6 grabed my attention a lot, It has many things to learn actually but the most things usful in my opinion are:
- Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2): In the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud, Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) provides scalable computing power. Using Amazon EC2 reduces the requirement for upfront hardware investment, allowing you to create and deploy apps more quickly.
- AWS Lambda: Lambda is a computing service that allows you to run code without the need for server setup or management. Lambda executes your code on a high-availability computing infrastructure and manages all aspects of it, including server and operating system maintenance, capacity provisioning and automated scaling, code monitoring, and logging.
- AWS Elastic Beanstalk: Elastic Beanstalk simplifies management without limiting options or control. You simply upload your app, and Elastic Beanstalk takes care of capacity provisioning, load balancing, scaling, and application health monitoring for you.
The way how I achieved them is that the videos given were very interesting and full of information, and we don't forgot the great demonstration that we can find in labs and videos as well.
A summary of what you have gained from completing the course?
Besides getting the badge, I have learned many essential thing in cloud computing, To illustrate, I learned how to create and design my own AWS architecture.
Your motivation to complete this project?
Because I was lost before and didn't know where to start learning about cloud computing, the AWS foundation course inspired me to learn more about it and work with it. As I mentioned before, I learned everything about cloud comuting from the scratch, I learned even how to design a whole cloud system for applications.
Your opinion whether getting the badge is easy or difficult? Which modul
is the easiest/most difficult.
Surely, the first module was the easiest because it was the beginning, where it discussed the headings, such as what each term in the cloud computing area means and what the benefits and drawbacks are. However, it is, in my opinion, the most beneficial module because you learn what cloud computing is all about.
Module 9 on the other hand, where you have to know how to build a complete cloud computing architecture and understand the connections between all three components (Front-end platform, Back-end platform, Cloud-based delivery), was a bit confusing.
What’s a badge worth?
It is valuable for me because I spent a significant amount of time each week learning about each of the modules. This badge serves as a reminder of the hard work I put in, as well as proof that my efforts were not useless.
Feedback whether getting the badge improve your knowledge and skills
on Cloud Computing?
Of course, as I previously stated, I had no previous knowledge of cloud computing when I began this course. Until then, I've learned how to set up a cloud computing architecture for any business.
Your opinion whether every company should shift to Cloud Computing?
Definitely, companies which do not transfer to cloud computing will be left behind in the near future, as the benefits of cloud computing over traditional computing easily outweigh the drawbacks, resulting in increased productivity with less time and money.
Your opinion whether every computer science/UTM student should learn
Cloud Computing (get the AWS badge?).
For me I would say Yes. This is own to Cloud Computing in general plays a big role on developing the technology which improves our world significantly. As we all know, AWS is the from the best cloud computing services that we've ever seen, so it very important to learn for any computer science student to learn it.
Any advice to your friends who have not get the AWS badge yet?
In addition to the educational benefits, you will receive an AWS badge and certificate, which will help you stand out on your CV. So, what exactly are you waiting for?
What is your direction after completing the badge?
I would say after completing this badge, I would like to attend many courses such as AWS course, I loved cloud computing after this course, hence, I would like to keep learning it.
Your opinion about getting the AWS badge that is included in SECP1513
subject?
Wonderful idea; instead of paying for a typical course, you can obtain more knowledge from Amazon for free.
Finally, earning the AWS badge and certificate as a reward for success made me pleased and inspired me. So I hope that I will keep learning about cloud computing in the the future, and AWS was the first gate.
