MINI REPORT

Through this workshop, several members from Sekretariat Anak Johor Darul Ta'zim (SEJATI) have been selected to be committee members for this workshop, including me who is the Head of the Publicity Unit. The task I had to do was create appropriate and creative promotional sentences to attract more participants as well as promote them across social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, and Telegram. The graduate attributes that are focused on this workshop is thinking skills in producing creative promotional sentences in addition to leadership and teamworking skills with other committee members, especially to the director of this program.

      The workshop was held for 2 hours 15 minutes from 2.15 p.m to 4 p.m. Participation for this program is free and given merit to UTM students who participate in this program. This workshop is held to further improve editing by using only Powerpoint and at the same time can attract students who are interested in graphic arts. This workshop exposed the participants to learn and improve graphic arts and editing by only using Powerpoint that can produce creative and interesting posters and logos and can also be used to produce presentation slides for students' assignments.

 

SELF-REFLECTION

      The organization of this workshop has a positive impact on the development of students' graduate attributes. Among them are communication skills because I communicate a lot with other committee members when holding meetings. In addition, thinking skills were also involved as I had to think of creative promotional sentences to attract many participants to participate in this workshop. The advantage that I have is that I quickly adapt to new situations, that is, I am easy to work with and follow the instructions given by the program director as well as the creative mind that I can use. However, there is a challenge that I face that the position held in this workshop is a position that I have never tried. Therefore, I give of myself and accept my duties and responsibilities sincerely.
