This is my first webinar that I am in charge of. The idea came when I was hold position of Educational Director in ChemPro. I believe that the majority of students will utilize Microsoft Office in their academic pursuits, and that this webinar will assist them in gaining some basic Microsoft Office abilities. The main purpose of this webinar is to assist students in producing high-quality reports or thesis projects with few errors in Microsoft Office. Apart from that, students are exposed to guidelines how to write any report or assignment using the UTM thesis format. In early stage after our team decide to proceed with this programme, we have to find a certified instructor as webinar's speaker. After considerable deliberation, we decided to select a UTM lecturer as the speaker since it is preferable for students to be exposed to core skills and a format that adheres to UTM guidelines. The webinar went off without a hitch, just as our team had hoped, and this webinar providing me with further expertise in creating better reports.
Self Reflection
This webinar has truly helped me improve my report writing skills. After attending this seminar, I recognized that I had made certain errors in the past when writing reports or assignments. There are certain formatting issues in the report that this programme helped me to improve it. I also learned a few tips and techniques for using Microsoft Office, and when I use them, it makes things a lot easier for me. As the Director of this programme, it has had an influence on me in terms of teaching me how to be a good leader and receiving feedback from my team, which has helped me grow as a person. I learnt that in order for this programme to work effectively, I need strong communication among my team.
